Saturday 9: Our House

1. I read that Bud Weiser & Kathy moved into their new house! When was the last time you moved? Where to? Its been almost 14 years since out last move. We went from our duplex to our first home

2. If they were making a Hall of Fame for the blogosphere, name a blogger or two who you think should make the list. Why? I have no clue

3. What are couple of funny things you remember your parents saying? (Like, “They’re starving there in China, so finish what you’ve got.” – John Lennon) Do you say them to your kids? I can’t think of any that they have said…. but I am sure I have said some things but am drawing a blank

4. What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle? Narrowly missing a tree and telephone pole when I lost control of my car years ago on a snowy/slushy road

5. What is it too late for? a nap, but I think I will sneak in a quick one anyways!

6. What do you try to stay away from? cigarette smoke

7. When you get into a disagreement or fight, how often are you the first to apologize? it depends…

8. Tell us about a current issue that you’re unhappy with. hmmm, not sure that there is anything I am unhappy with right at the moment.

9. How often do you update your blog/site and why? update as in post or in changing the design? posting, every few days, the design, I haven’t changed this one in a very long time, as I like the kitty at the top.

As for me, I need to find a arm band so I can use my phone when I am working out. I bought one, but it was too hard to get it in and out of. I may just have to find some work out pants with pockets.

Friday ~ Finally I had a normal “Friday routine” day! Groceries in the morning, running some errands, and getting things ready for the guys before I went to work. I tried out a new recipe I found on Pinterest, and it turned out really good! Work was fun, finally got to work with Mellany.

Saturday ~ Woke to the snow flying yet again in Michigan… I know, I know, I should be used to it, but it has been so nice not having lots of it this year. I had a bridal shower in the morning for my cousin’s daughter. I want to get remarried and have another shower! I could use some new household items! I had to laugh when she went on about the best ironing boards ever when she opened up one of her gifts. She received lots of nice gifts.

Then home to veg for a little while before it was time to go out with the girls for dinner and some shopping.

I found a pair of jeans, a hoodie and a shirt for work, I say it was a successful shopping trip!

Sunday ~ The weather was ugly again today, so John decided we were staying home for the day, well until it was time to take Trent to work. So my day consisted of some Lifetime movies and ironing the curtains, and doing some blog work.

Don’t get me wrong. I love all things British. I love their accents, the charming way they say certain words, their quirky sense of style, their hot royal young men. I do not however, enjoy one of the most famous shows on television today. The show of which I speak is Top Gear. I am sure you have heard of it if you have a man in your life. I am sure you know about the funny way they talk about cars. Lorie anyone? Boot? Does ANYONE know what I am talking about? Is anyone out there feeling my pain? My boyfriend is obsessed with this show. Like Ob. Sessed. It has come to the point where when I hear the first 5 notes of the theme song for the show I run screaming from the room. I can’t take it anymore. Why TV By Direct ? Why must you provide us with this lovely British cable channel? WHY?! On the plus side I would like to see more of Jude Law and Posh and Becks and their adorable brood of athletic, handsome children. Maybe BBC isn’t so bad after all.

A word from Judd:

Bud Weiser and his beautiful lady move today into their dream house! So while you are playing Stealing, raise a glass and toast their new lives together! (They aren’t asking for gifts, here.)  Also it is time to friggin’ “like” WTIT on facebook. We have over 400 members and only 70 or so have taken that step. Don’t get me wrong. Bud didn’t expect anybody to, so thank you! We’d like to get the number to 100 today, and WTIT doesn’t post much anyway, so you will no be flooded with garbage. Thank you for playing. We never imagined this stupid stealing stuff would be so popular! Here’s to the recently engaged and new homeowners, Bud & Kathy!!

Today we ripped off a blogger named Kyogres from the blog Hero of the BlueFlames. It’s long so we will do it in parts. It was stolen from Nerdish.But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft’s thieves might take some time. Take the time to comment on other player’s posts. It’s a great way to make new friends! We can plan a weekend away somewhere for them to go fishing, as it will be much more cost efficient. Then I can start putting away money each week and plan out a nice, long vacation to Hawaii! I wanted it to be a get away for just me and John, but if I can save up enough, then I will make it be a little bit longer vacation and take Trent with us.

Its a good thing people like to call in at work, as I forsee me taking on some other shifts come this summer. If I do, then all of the extra money will be put into a special vacation fund account.

I did my running this morning for my normal Friday routine, and found some deals in the clearance racks. I didn’t see any welding jackets, so the guys at my hubby’s work will just have to wait a little longer. I finished up the last of the knitting for the shower tomorrow, then vegged for the remainder of the day until it was time to head out.

I am looking forward to the rest of the weekend, with a package being delivered, containing my iPhone; a bridal shower, then to round out the weekend a girls night out! Sunday will be a day of vegging with my hubby.

“A Week At The Beach”

I just started this book, and am not at the third chapter yet, but am intrigued to find out what is going on, that might just land them in jail, for looking at boys! LOL
