Trent gets in the truck today and says… “Ahhhh Spring Break starts now.” I looked at him and said, “Nice try. You have to go to school tomorrow.” He tries to convince me that they don’t have school all the way home. So as he is bringing the trash can around to the back of the house, I head in the house and look at the school calendar, and guess what?? There is no school tomorrow! Oops!

I found out I was one of Annie’s winners in her candle giveaway! Yay!! Can’t to see what scent she picks out for me!

So for the last two weeks I have been dealing with my windshield on the truck. It started on Mar. 21st, when a truck driving by threw a rock and connected with my truck window… a nice chip in the window. I called the insurance company, got an appt set up with a place to come out and replace the windshield on the following Monday morning. After waiting all morning, they finally show up late. As he was tightening up the last bolt I hear “Oops”. And see that he cracked the windshield! Ugh. So he says the soonest he can be back out will be Thursday or Friday. I opted for Thursday, as I have to much running to do on Fridays. He shows up, and gets the window in, and I am thinking Yay, all set. Only to get in the truck the next day to see that its cracked again, in the same area! I called the place to let them know what happened, she proceeds to tell me she would have to talk with the manager and the technician who did the work and would get back to me. So I heard nothing the rest of the day, and for most of the day on the following Monday. I finally had enough and called them back, only for them to not know why I was calling! Great! This irritated me, so I called our insurance company to inform them that I am not happy and want to go with someone else to get the window taken care of!

After several calls back and for between them and the warranty company I have someone coming out on Monday to pick up the truck and taking it in for me to get fixed, so I don’t have to sit around while they work on it. I hope this time, it is installed properly and no more cracks!

Don’t ya just love opening up your email to find out you won a contest?!?!?! I just logged into my hotmail account and received an email saying I won a blog contest. I kinda forgot about this one, as I had entered quite a few over the last few weeks. Can’t wait to get it!!

I won the holiday photo contest that Write from Karen had with this photo of my kitty. Our prize is a $25 Mastercard gift card, I will be putting this towards a cat tower for her, something like this

I am on a winning streak!! John told me that I need to go out and buy a powerball ticket. I may just do this! The last few weeks I have won a computer monitor, a movie night package to now a free year of hosting for a new blog from Payu2blog. I am not sure what this blog will be called or what I am going to blog about, so if you have any ideas throw them my way!

The guys at Payu2blog do a video drawing for their $100 winner, and ran a contest on their forum for the free web hosting for a year that I signed up at, and chose the winner on this video as well. You can see the video here. Their videos are funny. They draw out a piece of paper and my name (siggy below) was on it towards the end of the video.

I am so excited!!! I went making some blog rounds tonight and had to check and see if one of the contests had chosen their winner and I found out that I won. Thanks Charlotte Web Design firm.

So I had a decision to make. Did I want an iPod, and xBox 360 or a LCD 19″ monitor? I talked it over with John and we decided on going with the monitor as we are planning on getting a Wii for Christmas this year. Of course I can’t let Trent know that I had the chance to win an xBox, as he will flip out that I didn’t choose that. We have been wanting a new monitor for some time now, so this will come in very handy.

Can’t wait for it to arrive. We will be giving our old monitor to my sister in law. It seems we do a lot of hand me downs on electronices. If we get something from John’s dad, we will pass ours onto his sister. She will be happy as she has a very tiny monitor.

I won! I won!! Yay!! I love entering contests and then get the surprise comment or email notifying me that I won. I forgot the drawing for this contest would be today, and I even have the link on my sidebar to the right too. LOL Trent will be thrilled! Gonna have a movie night soon!! Can’t wait for the package to arrive!

I won another give away over at 5 Minutes for Mom!  This time it was for a box of  General Mills’ new Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters cereal.  Can’t wait to get this  fun mail!
