Thirteen things I *want* to do with some of our tax refund

1. I really, really want a Dyson ~ this one, cause its purple *giggle*

2. John wants a new guitar amp.

3. Trent needs some new summer clothes.

4. We need a new bath enclosure.

5. I would like to get a few summer clothes too.

6. My airline ticket to California, so I can see Debbie and her new grand baby!!!

7. Put some away so we can go to New York this summer!!

8. Get caught up on some bills.

9. Buy some bikes, to replace the ones that were stolen out of our garage.

10. Buy the paint I need to do the last few touch ups, so the house can go on the market!!

11. I would love to get new living room furniture (but know this won’t happen that is why this is a *want* list)

12. Put some aside for a possible Missions trip to Africa in February with our church.

13. Put the rest away in savings.

This week its all about 13 things I must do to close my daycare.

Tomorrow will be a bittersweet day for me. Things didn’t pan out how I wanted, but I do feel this is my time to end my long journey in daycare.

1. Say good-bye to the 2 precious girls, I have come to love like my own.

2. Go through the toys.

3. List things on craigslist.com (this is already done)

4. Clean out the cupboards of all the little people dishes/sippy cups.

5. Call the 4 C’s to inform them I am no longer going to be involved with the food program.

6. Call licensing to inform them that I am no longer going to be a daycare provider.

7. Call the school to have them take me off the daycare list they have on file.

8. Call and cancel my daycare insurance.

9. Clean out my file cabinet of all things daycare related.

10. Relax and take a breather.

11. Possibly find a part time job.

12. Enjoy my house with no little ones.

13.  Trent wants a party, as he will finally have the house with no daycare kids…. a first in his 12 yrs of life.

This week its all about 13 of my favorite kids.

1. Christopher ~ my 19 yr old. I don’t see much of him these days.
We had a falling out awhile back and he has moved out
but he is still one of my favorite kids.

2. Trent ~ my 12 yr old. He is one silly kid. He can always
make me smile and get me in a good mood.

3. Abby ~ my oldest niece. She is one great girl. She is already having
“blond moments” and will admit it freely. I just love this girl!

4. Hannah ~ my middle niece. She doesn’t like me to take her picture,
she must get this trait from me, as I hate to have mine taken as well.
But is always quick to give me a hug so it makes up for it.

5. Ella ~ my youngest niece. She is the spitting image of Hannah,
but lets me take pics of her. I don’t like to play favorites,
but she is my fave.. shhhhh don’t tell the other 2 girls!

The next few are my friends kids that I just adore!
6. Aden ~ He has the most gorgeous eyes, and very long eyelashes.

7. Cohen ~ He is the subject of most of my pics I post on here. He is so
photogenic, and always has a smile for the camera. He is such a sweet little boy.

8. Owen ~ He is such a fun little guy. I had him in my daycare for a while and
loved seeing him grow from his “baby” stage into a cute little toddler.
Now he is an energetic 3 yr old and just a bundle of energy.

9. Sophie ~ I am in love with this baby girl. She is
such a good baby, and a cutie to boot!

10. Natalie ~ she is such a sweet little girl!

The next 2 are my favorite daycare girls ever!
11. Jenna ~ she is my talker. There is never a quiet moment with her around.

12. Julia ~ she’s my Juju. She was having fun in my truck
while we were waiting for her sister to get out of school, so
out came the camera. I love this pic of her!

13. And last but not least I am throwing in my kitty…
she is like another kid. My Lulu.

Its been a while since I’ve done a TT. This week its all about my desk and what’s on, under or near my desk.

1. The cordless phone.
2. The answering machine.
3. The never ending pile of papers, that are in need of sorting.
4. Lotion, 4 bottles too (I can never make up my mind of which scent I want to wear LOL)
5. My glasses, they I hate to wear in the summer months because its too hot.
6. My watch
7. The remote to the TV.
8. 2 nail files
9. A baby sling I got in the mail free yesterday!
10. Under it is a few phone books, why we have 2 I don’t know!
11. One of my many purses is under the desk.
12. A baby is near my desk, and none to happy that he is in a walker, its just to hot to hold him already this morning!
13. And last on my desk is a Mario battery operated toothbrush my MIL got for my hubby as a “joke gift” for his birthday this year.

I’m back! It’s been a while since I have done a TT, things just got crazy busy last month. This week I will be talking about the 13 most important people in my life.

2. My hubby ~ I have been blessed to have in my life for the last 16 years.
3. My oldest son ~ Christopher. While we have our moments, he made me a mom almost 19 years ago. Time has flown on by watching him grow into the man he has become.
4. My youngest son ~ Trent. He can brighten even the darkest days. He is a bundle of joy. Never a dull moment with him around.
5. My mother-in-law ~ Louise. We have a great relationship, and I couldn’t have asked for a better 2nd mom!
6. Kellie ~ she is my partner in crime (so to speak) on Michigan Moms Club. We have gone through alot this past year but have come out stronger women because of each other! Love you Kel!
7. Jenny ~ I am glad you married my brother. You are a remarkable woman and friend!! You have blessed me with 3 beautiful girls!! Love you!
8. Jeanine ~ you have been my best friend for oh so many years! I love that we went through a pregnancy together, my last and your first! (I don’t have any pics of her on the computer *sad*) Love you!

9. Robyn ~ the day we met in person at Mongolian BBQ I knew we would be friends for life!! With you around there is never a dull moment, and I love you for that!! Your boys are just the cutest!!
10. Cici ~ what can I say about you! LOL You are an amazing woman! Your talent is awesome! I just wish I could see you more!! Love you!!
11. Tina ~ while I have known you the shortest amount of time, it feels like I have known you forever! I am glad you have walked into my life!!!
12. Megan ~ Girl… you have truely amazed me with your strength with what you have gone through with Alyssa. Reading your journal while she was in the hospital had me in tears. And now with this newest challenge you have going on in your life, I know you will come through this a better person, and you know I am here to support you!! Love you!
