This week its all about “So Far Away”

1. Where is the furthest place that you have traveled and how far away from home is it? San Francisco - its 2295 miles from my house.

2. What is a blog that you would recommend for us to read and why? My Life as Annie, why? because she is an amazing woman, and she inspires me!

3. What is the biggest surprise you ever have had and was it a good one? I don’t like surprises

4. What is your favorite quote? (We know we’ve asked this recently. But there is always another great quote! Be STill and know I am God.

5. Have you ever been hospitalized for a major health situation? for my appendix

6. Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself? long, even tho I have short hair at the moment. I think I am going to grow it back out, I am so indecisive!

7. What was your favorite amusement park ride growing up? I loved the scrambler. But now if I ride it I get really sick thanks to my vertigo.

8. How long do you talk on your phone on a typical day? I am on my phone all day long, not continuously, but on and off all day long talking with Robyn.

This week its all about ” Let’s Get Ready to Rumble”

1. When was the last time you lost your temper with someone? Monday after Trent’s soccer practice

2. What was it about? The comments he made about practice and wanting to quit.. he was being very mouthy and flip about it… and it annoyed me to no end!

3. Were you totally right or totally wrong? I was right

4. If wrong, how long until you realized it? If right, how long until the other person realized it? I don’t think he has realized it yet, he still thinks I am a mean mom

5. Did you go a lengthy of time without speaking? no

6. Who made the first move? no one really

7. Do you feel the situation is resolved now? for the most part, he signed up for the sport and has to follow through until the end of the season, he is not allowed to quit, as that is not fair to this team

9. Was there permanent damage even though you’ve made up? nope, we are back to the same loving mom/son relationship

1. When you go to a restaurant, do you usually order the same thing? for the most part I do, if they have fajitas…. my absolute fave!!

1. Do you worry about your next birthday? Not now, I dreaded my birthday this year tho

2. Have you ever lied about your age in the recent past? If yes why? Not really… I just tell everyone I am 29 for the xx amount of years.. LOL

4. How much older have you been a person that you were romantically involved? My hubby is 4 years older than me

~Creative Adventure XVI ~ Fill In The Blanks~

1. While on a Caribbean cruise, I take the elevator to get to my room.  Accidentally pressing the wrong button, the elevator door closes and then opens and I find myself in the servant’s area.

2. Being the curious type, I leave the elevator and start to walk down the hallway and soon come to a strange odor behind a locked door.

3. Now worried, I turn around to go back to the elevator when I suddenly see the captain.

4. A little relieved and laughing to myself I realize that I was just dreaming.

This week its all about “We Travel Well”

1. What part of the world and country do you live in? United States. Michigan, in the Midwest

2. What is the furthest from home that you have been, and where is it? California

3. What travel destination have you enjoyed the most? Going to Florida for Christmas a few years ago. We went to Universal Studios and Busch Gardens. I am ready to go every year at Christmas!

4. What travel destination have you enjoyed the least? none really ~ the only thing I don’t like about traveling, is hitting construction.

5. Is there somewhere you’d like to visit but have not, and where is it? Hawaii. Someday soon!

6. Do you prefer traveling to see historic places or to hit the beach and relax? I like to do both.

7. What popular vacation destination have you never considered because you think you’d not like it?  I am thinking New York, because its such a busy place.  I would love to go, but not sure I can convince my hubby, he is not a crowd person.

8. Where did you travel to most recently? I went to Mall of America with my friend Jeanine last November, we had a really good time!

9. Do you like day trip “mini-vacations”? I do! You get to see more of your own state this way.

1. How did you meet? Through my cousin, her hubby and John were in a band together. I was at her house going through some pictures of her son’s first birthday, and came across a photo of John and asked who he was, and if he was single. She told me all the info, and said I had to go with her to their next gig, and the rest is history!
