This week its all about “At the Beach”

1. Do you plan to be at the beach this summer? I have been to the beach a few times now, and probably will be there a few more times.

2. Do you have a favorite beach? I like going to Millennium Park. Its a nice little man made beach, and has a fun splash pad.

3. How old were you on your first beach trip? I am sure my parents brought me to the beach when I was much younger, I can’t remember.

4. Did your folks own or rent a cottage at the beach? No. One of these days I would like to have a cottage so we can spend our weekends there.

5. Have you or would you bring your kids to the same beaches you went to as a kid? I have brought them to Long Lake a few times, and we have been to Lake Michigan.

6. What type of bathing suit do you wear at the beach? I have a tankini.

7. Do you have favorite food you like to eat at the shore? chips

8. Do you have a favorite drink you like at the shore? water, the sun drains you, so got to have the water to rehydrate yourself!

9. When is the next time you will be beach bound? Maybe next week, if the weather permits!

1. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener? Depends on who is in the setting. If its with people I don’t know real well, then I am as listener. If it is with people I know, then I am a talker.

3. Did you ever go to camp as a kid? I did, and had the best times!!

4. What was your favorite game as a kid? probably playing kick ball.

5. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew the person was married, would you go for it anyway? no

7. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed? my photos

8. Do you look like your mom or dad? my mom, I have never met my dad.

3. Where will you be this weekend? I have a Pampered Chef party this afternoon, tonight I am spending some time with my hubby. Sunday ~ church, then to a graduation open house, then to my nieces birthday party.

This week its all about “Let’s talk relationships! Pick a relationship.

1. How did you meet? Through my cousin, her hubby and John were in a band together. I was at her house going through some pictures of her son’s first birthday, and came across a photo of John and asked who he was, and if he was single. She told me all the info, and said I had to go with her to their next gig, and the rest is history!

2. Was it lust at first sight? I wouldn’t say lust.

3. Were they currently available? yes he was

4. How important is physical attraction? I think its pretty important

5. How important is intellectual attraction? Its so-so

6. How long until you had sex? Uh… I would like to say we waited until our wedding night, but not so much.

7. Is this/was this the love of your life? He is the love of my life!

This week its all about “Summer Movies and Oil”

1. The other day I purchased gas for $3.96, which was less than the $4.37 my local station charges per gallon. What is the current gas price in your area for regular? Right now its $4.15 per gallon, and I ain’t too happy about it!

2. Will your vacation plans be altered by the price of gas? Pretty much, we will be sticking close to home this year!

3. Is there any movie this summer that you’re looking forward to seeing? We have yet to see the new Narnia movie, so this is the one I am looking forward to seeing!

4. Gas prices aside, what is your favorite vacation destination?  Florida

5. Will you watch more film on DVD than in theaters this summer? Yep, it costs to much to go to the theaters, and with the quick turn around of the movies coming out on DVD, it just makes more sense.

6. Will you fly anywhere this summer? Not anymore, we were planning on going to New York, but this was cancelled after I closed my daycare.

7. Guess: How high will a gallon of gas peak at? I am guessing it will be hovering the $5 mark by Labor Day.

8. Will gas prices effect who you vote for in this fall’s election? no

9. How much will the price of home heating oil effect you? I don’t even want to know what its going to be like this winter. We have very old, drafty windows.

5. Have you ever had a tough time in your relationship with your father? yes, through out my teens years, and now in my adult years.

6. What was the last thing that you did with your dad? honestly, I can’t remember

1. How long have you been blogging? I started blogging in March 2006.

2. How did you start? I signed up with blogger.com, and wrote about my feelings and what nots, to now having my own domain with a few blogs, and doing lots of meme’s.

3. How often do you post on your blog? Daily

4. Have you made good blogging friends? I have!

5. Have you talked to someone on the phone you met through blogging? No. I would love to hear Annie and Tina’s voices tho!

6. Have you met anyone from your blogging? No, but there are many I would love to meet!

7. Have you had a crush on anyone you have not met? in blog land, no

This week its all about high school (again)…

1. Can you sing the fight song? Uhhh… I think I can remember it.

2. Who was your favorite teacher? Mr. Woodhull, he was my account teacher, and alot of fun.

3. What was your school mascot? an Eagle

4. Did you go to the Prom? yep ~ I went with one of my guy friends, and had the best time.

5. If you could go back, would you? no

6. What do you remember most about graduation? the night before camping out on the school lawn.

7. Where were you on Senior Skip Day? at the beach with the majority of my class (we have a very small graduating class).

8. Did you have a job your senior year? yep, I worked at McDonald’s

9. Where did you go most often for lunch? the school cafeteria - we had a closed campus.

1. Who was your best friend? Jeanine Castenholz ~ still is, and has been for 35 years!!

2. Did you play any sports? I played volley ball for 3 years.

3. What kind of car did you drive? Let’s see I started out with a Chevy Vega, and then had a Ford Thunderbird with t-tops.

4. It’s Friday night. Where were you? Either the football game, the basketball game or the latter have of my HS career working at McDonald’s

5. Were you a party animal? no

7. Were you in the band, orchestra or choir? I was in band for my freshman year

1. Where and when were you born? I was born at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI in April 1968.

2. Do you have siblings? If yes, tell us more. I have 2 sisters and one brother (they are all younger than me). My sisters and I don’t get along at all. I tend to stay away from them. My brother and I have gotten closer in the last few years, and for that I am thankful.

3. What are your parents’ names? Gene and Sally

4. Did you (or do you) know all four of your grandparents? I knew my dad’s parents, and my mom’s dad, but her mom died before I was born, but I was blessed with a wonderful step grandma.

5. Do have children? If yes, tell us about them. If no, do you want them? I have 2 boys. Christopher who is 20, for the most part he is a good kid, he has had his moments, but we are working on those. Trent who just turned 13, he is my happy go lucky son. He can put a smile on anyone’s face at any time. I love both my boys!

6. Do you still live in the general area that you grew up in? I live about 30 minutes from where I grew up.

7. Do you have cousins? If yes, are you or have you been close? I have lots of cousins. I have always been close to Tammie and Darla. I wish my cousin Ginger didn’t live so far away!

8. How often does your family all get together? my side…. Ha… we don’t get together at all, unless it is with my brother. On my hubby’s side we see them about every other week.

9. Is your significant other close to your family? no, and I don’t see it changing any time soon either.
