1. How is burping seen in your family? Is it rude? Humorous? Applauded? And do you ignore it, apologize or hide it? Okay, same questions for farting. (Come on, don’t be shy! We’ve all done it!)
burping ~ its not a big deal. farting ~ the guys, they don’t hide it at all, and there is no apologizing going on at all from them. Me, I try to hide it.

2. How long was it from your first date until the proposal of marriage? How long until the wedding? What do you think the shortest amount of time is acceptable between the first date and being engaged and getting married? We dated for 5 years, before the proposal. The wedding was 11 months later. I think people should date at least a year before they talk about getting married.

3. What do you have in your glove compartment? Show us a picture! My phone charger, camera battery charger, insurance info, truck manual and a pencil

4. Which do you dislike most: pop-up ads or spam email? Do you think either “marketing” strategy is more effective than the other? Have you ever clicked on a pop-up ad or followed through with a spam email? What was the result? Probably spam email, as I have the pop up blocker on. I think the email, as I am sure most have a pop up blocker installed. I have never opened up a spam email, I just don’t trust them.

1. Do think it’s okay to bring your own snacks into the movie theater? Why or why not? I do! why?, because they charge way to much for this stuff! You can get the same kind of candy at the grocery store now for $1.25! Why spend the extra $$!!??

2. If someone were following you, would you:
A. Attempt to lose them.
B. Turn around and confront them, asking them what in the heck were they doing??
C. Nothing.
D. Something else (do tell!)

Tell us about a time when you thought someone was following you. (Don’t we all have those stories? I do!)

I would attempt to lose them. I don’t think I have ever had anyone follow me.

3. What is your highest level of education? What were/are your thoughts about school? Would you ever consider going back to school? If so, for what? If not, why not? I went to college right out of high school, but after the first semester I had had enough, so I dropped out. I went back a year later to a trade school to get my Medical Assistant certificate. I worked in this field for 5 years, then became a SAHM. I have considered going back to school a few times, for either a degree in Cosmetology, or for maybe a preschool teacher.

4. Do you order photos online? Do you print your own photos or go someplace to print them off? And do you order photographic gifts too? I order online, as the prices are cheaper. If I need a picture right away, I will run up to Walgreens or Wal-Mart to get them printed. I do order photo gifts as well.

1. When do you need soothing? And, what soothes you? Tell us about the last time you needed soothing. When things go wrong. Usually knitting soothes me. The last time, I can’t think of any right off hand

2. What makes today special for you? And you’re not allowed to say “nothing.” Everyday should be special - life is short! If you can’t think of anything that makes today special, then tell us something you’re thankful for, right now, right this very minute. I get to go see a new baby today!! I am so very excited!!!.

3. What is the most you’d be willing to spend on the perfect pair of blue jeans? What about shoes? Tell us about the last time you purchased jeans. Now tell us the last time you purchased a pair of shoes. Oh this is hard now. I have been getting some really good deals at the Salvation Army (S. A.), so I have a hard time actually buying clothing at full price. I won’t pay more than $30 for jeans. I got a pair of new Lee’s at the S. A. a while ago and paid only 49 cents!!!! Shoes - not more than $20 or so. The last shoes I bought were my tennis shoes, and I spent way more that I wanted to, but needed a good pair.

4. What is the oddest thing you ever bought for yourself? The oddest?? Hmmmm… I can’t think of anything right now.

1. What’s your mood today? Why do you feel this way? Would you consider yourself to be a moody person overall? When has your “moodiness” gotten you into trouble? Tell us about that incident. Right now I just feel “blah”. Monday’s usually do this to me. I don’t consider myself all that moody anymore. I can’t really say it got me into trouble, it just caused alot of tension among friends.

2. How do you feel about the dentist? On a scale of 1 (terrified) to 10 (he’s like a brother to you). And, if it’s a low number … is there a reason behind your fear / loathing? Tell us a dentist story (we all have them!) -10, I had a very bad experience at a dentist that turned me off to all! I had went to a new dentist that was by my house, with an awful toothache. This whack job, took an ice cube and placed it on my tooth and asked if that hurt. I had just about went through the roof, then wanted to hit him. Oh my word, did that hurt. They said I needed a root canal, I was already terrified of dentists, and told him to just pull the tooth. He said I was too young to have a hole in my mouth and persuaded me to do the root canal. I did, reluctantly. He failed to tell me that I needed to go back to get a crown, and later (less than a month) the tooth cracked and fell out. I had went back and they said I never came back. I told them they never said I had to, they looked in the chart, and sure enough they didn’t. I was very ticked, as now I had the hole in my mouth that I had asked for in the first place, but had spent all that money, via myself and our insurance. I fought them, and got not only my money back, but the insurance companies as well! To this day I am terrified of dentists. I get all worked up before I have to go in, even for cleanings. I have since found a dentist that has put me somewhat at ease, but I do get worked up none the less.

3. If you could interview anyone, who would you interview, and what would the first question be? I would love to interview Denzel Washington. What is your favorite movie you have ever been in?

4. What did you do over the weekend? Friday night I had a date with my hubby, we went and saw “Fireproof”, what an awesome movie! Saturday, I had a Dove Chocolate party, it was yummy. Later went out shopping with Robyn and Erica. Sunday ~ church, then over to the inlaws for dinner.

1.If your children are going trick-or-treating this year, what costumes are they wearing? Trent wants to be a zombie
Do you take them door-to-door or do you take them to a sponsored event? Mostly sponsored events. This year he has 2 halloween parties to go to, one that is kinda a school event, and the other is at a friends house.
Tell us about the last time you dressed up for Halloween. I dressed up as a nurse, with my scrubs and stethescope
How do you feel about Halloween in general? I have mixed feelings about halloween. I like to see the little kids dressed up in their cute costumes, other than that I don’t really care for it.

2. Do your friends and family read your blog? Friends - yes. Family - not so sure, I know there is one who knows about my blog, just not sure if she reads it
How does this knowledge affect your writing? I don’t share alot of personal feelings
Do you feel like you can totally be yourself on your blog? For the most part I feel I can, but anything that is really weighing heavy on my heart I don’t put on here as it will offend some that do read, so I will usually write all of it down in my journal
Where do you draw the line when it comes to disclosing too much about your life on your blog? stated above

3. Are you an early bird or a night owl? More of an early bird
What do you like to do in the early morning hours or late at night? Early - blog, pick up the house. Late at night.. nada.. I like to sleep.. LOL
How do your sleeping patterns affect the rest of your family? they don’t

4. Do you lie about your age? Why or why not? I joke around and say I am “29″ for the 11th year in a row.

1. Do you have certain times of the day when you have to have things done? Does your day run on a timetable? Or are you more of a laissez-faire kind of person? I do have things on time-table. I like to have everything done before 5, so I don’t have to do anything in the evening. I have a schedule for most days, that I am slowly getting back into now that I reopened my daycare.

2. What one word describes you on a good day? friendly

What one word would your best friend use to describe you? caring
What one word would your significant other use to describe you? loving -he says its to hard to describe me in just one word…LOL

1. What did you do over the weekend? (Saturday and Sunday - be specific, please. Remember, this is a journal about your life, so, tell us about your life. *smile*) Saturday - I had my cooking class at church. Its called Simply Scratch, so everything is made from scratch! We made red chili and white chili, corn bread and an apple crisp. Everything was so yummy, and really easy to make!

Sunday - we went to church, had an awesome time in the Lord, then home for lunch. I took a nap, only to be woken up by some neighbors and their loud music. I had had enough and called the cops, as this has been going on for the last 5 Sundays. Then I went over to Robyn’s and got a few toys, then home to veg the rest of the night in front of the TV.

2. Which are scarier to you: ghosts or aliens? Why? Do you believe in either/both? Why or why not? Neither. I don’t believe in either of them. Why, I just don’t

3. I can’t live without my laptop. Now, please tell us why you can’t live without it. Why? Because I can take it anywhere in the house, and still have access to the internet. I have even brought it over to my inlaws, so I could still play online, without having to head on down to their basement to get online.

4. What is the cheesiest movie you ever saw, and secretly enjoyed? Why did you enjoy it so much? I can’t think of any right now

1. Are you brunette? Blonde? Auburn? And is it natural? If you could pick any type of hair you wanted, the style and color, what would it be? (Can you link us to a picture?) I have somewhat of a red tint to my hair, and its not natural. I color my hair about every 3-4 weeks. I would love to have a nice shade of brown, that would go with some carmel highlights.

2. How did your car get that little scratch/dent? (Because let’s face it, we ALL have car stories, right? If, for some reason you don’t, tell us about how someone else’s car got that scratch/dent). I have been very, very careful with my truck, but wouldn’t you know it.. there is a small dent in it, that of course the hubby had to find. I have no clue how it got there either! I have babied this car, as it is a lease and I don’t want to have to pay for any fines when we trade it in!

3. In your opinion, what is the worst-tasting candy? Now, what is the best-tasting candy? How often do you eat candy? Do you keep it around your house? Do you allow your children to eat very much candy? worst - I can’t think of any. The best, would be my favorite, a milky way. I usually have one of these a month, around “that time of the month”. I do allow my kids to have candy, but not all that often.

4. Are you easily agitated? What really makes your temper soar? Do you stay angry for a long time? Or do you get over it pretty fast? I am very easily agitated! People who don’t follow through on things. I used to stay angry for a long time, but I am now learning to get over it faster, as it doesn’t pay to stay angry.

2. What advice do you have for a new blogger? Be specific - this new blogger? Wants to know details! Have fun with it, post what you want, and if you are stuck at what to write, go find a meme, they are alot of fun, and great fillers.

3. Tell us about your childrens’ (all ages!) first day of school, walk us through it. How did you handle it? How did your children handle it? Do you have a picture? (And speaking of pictures, hang onto to those precious school pictures, the next photo contest is coming up fast!) Trent is 13 and started 8th grade, I was ready for him to be back in school, him, not so much, he wanted more vacation.
Christopher is 20, and has taken this semester off, and is working full time.

4. What is your greatest consumer mistake, something that you are shaking your head at now, saying, “Boy, I wish I wouldn’t have bought ________”? So, why did you buy it? What happened to it? Right now I am drawing a blank, but I know there has to be something I bought that I had a “doh” moment about.
