Weekend rewind. If you want to play along, grab the above button and tell me all about your weekend!

Friday ~ Trent had a doctors appointment in the morning, physical and shots.. poor baby. Then off to get groceries, grabbed some lunch and headed home. Figured out what yarn I needed to start on some hats for a friend, then off to Michael’s to get said yarn. I was just planning on hanging out at home for the evening until I received a phone call from my sister in law.

She wanted to know if I wanted to go see Donny and Marie at the Soaring Eagle Casino. She was given 2 tickets. So off we went. The GPS said it was an hour and 41 minute drive, so getting us there at 8:16… 16 minutes after it started. Oh no, not on my watch. I was determined to get us there by 8, and by golly I did! Now finding a parking spot was another story. So many people there gambling their money away! What a shame! Any who, we found a spot, met the guy who had the tickets for us, and off we went.

What an awesome show, and SEATS!! So wish I would have went with my gut and grabbed my big camera anyways, even though it said no cameras/video equipment. So many people were taking pictures, I tried with my little camera, but they didn’t turn out. Oh well! It was great just seeing them.

Awesome night!!

Saturday ~ I did a few errands then headed back home, as Trent was sick. He was experiencing some side effects from his shots he received on Friday. John worked in the basement on the guitar, while I knitted most of the day. I snuck in a nap.

Sunday ~ Had every notion to go to church (even with it starting earlier than the norm), but Trent woke up yet again with a fever, so I stayed home with him. Loaded up the crock pot with a pork roast, using Tastefully Simple’s Vidalia Onion Dressing. Oh my did it ever taste good!

Just a lounging kind of weekend here at the Saladino household.

What did you do this weekend? Let me know if you play along!

Weekend rewind. If you want to play along, grab the above button and tell me all about your weekend!

Friday ~ Grocery shopping in the am, then I was off to the Danish Festival in Greenville with Robyn and the boys. They had lots and lots of craft booths, with so many things I wanted! If I only had more money! Oh well. I did buy a cute sign that will go in my dining room, and once its up I will post a picture. They boys did as well as we expected them to while we did our “mom” thing, so our last thing to do was go to the kids area and let them have fun. They each got a balloon animal from the clown, went in the bounce house/slide and the big slide then each got their face painted – Co was Spiderman and A was Captain America.

Saturday ~ John and Trent went to drum lessons and I went and got my nails done. Once home we had lunch and then I got started on making the 8 dozen cookies for church. After they were all made, John and I went shopping, wish I could say it was for something fun, but alas it was just clothes for him. We had dinner then a few rounds of Rockband and Beatles Rockband.

Sunday ~ Church in the am, then off to my cousin’s baby shower. She received so many cute girly things… almost makes me want another baby… ALMOST!

What did you do this weekend? Let me know if you play along!
