Do you talk about politics on your blog? No
What about in real life? Why or why not? Not really. I don’t like to talk politics, things tend to get heated, especially when I say a certain someone is the anti Christ.

What is the most useful gift you’ve ever been given? a huge ceramic unicorn

Name the most terrifying moment of your life so far. When I hit an icy patch on the road, and did a few 360’s, nearly missing a pine tree, and stopping right in front of a telephone pole.

One hot summer afternoon, while walking through a parking lot at a large shopping center, you notice a dog suffering badly from the heat inside a locked car. What would you do? Notify the security at the shopping center.

1. What did you do over the weekend? (Saturday and Sunday - be specific, please. Remember, this is a journal about your life, so, tell us about your life. *smile*) Saturday - I had my cooking class at church. Its called Simply Scratch, so everything is made from scratch! We made red chili and white chili, corn bread and an apple crisp. Everything was so yummy, and really easy to make!

Sunday - we went to church, had an awesome time in the Lord, then home for lunch. I took a nap, only to be woken up by some neighbors and their loud music. I had had enough and called the cops, as this has been going on for the last 5 Sundays. Then I went over to Robyn’s and got a few toys, then home to veg the rest of the night in front of the TV.

2. Which are scarier to you: ghosts or aliens? Why? Do you believe in either/both? Why or why not? Neither. I don’t believe in either of them. Why, I just don’t

3. I can’t live without my laptop. Now, please tell us why you can’t live without it. Why? Because I can take it anywhere in the house, and still have access to the internet. I have even brought it over to my inlaws, so I could still play online, without having to head on down to their basement to get online.

4. What is the cheesiest movie you ever saw, and secretly enjoyed? Why did you enjoy it so much? I can’t think of any right now

Pick out the most important item you have in your purse/wallet and tell me why it’s important to you. This would have to be my camera. I love to take pictures, and there is always a moment I want to capture when I am out and about.

What would you take from your house if you knew it would be flooded tomorrow? I would grab all my photo albums, and all the pictures not in them, my laptop, & clothes.

If you were stuck in a room for an hour with a chalk board, what would you draw on it? I would probably draw animals, stick people, faces, doodles

3. Tell us about your childrens’ (all ages!) first day of school, walk us through it. How did you handle it? How did your children handle it? Do you have a picture? (And speaking of pictures, hang onto to those precious school pictures, the next photo contest is coming up fast!) Trent is 13 and started 8th grade, I was ready for him to be back in school, him, not so much, he wanted more vacation.
Christopher is 20, and has taken this semester off, and is working full time.

4. What is your greatest consumer mistake, something that you are shaking your head at now, saying, “Boy, I wish I wouldn’t have bought ________”? So, why did you buy it? What happened to it? Right now I am drawing a blank, but I know there has to be something I bought that I had a “doh” moment about.

1. What are you up to today? Be specific. We’ve talked about your morning routine before, now walk us through a typical Monday for you after breakfast is over. How do you feel about Mondays? A fresh start to your week? Or do you dread the drudge of getting back to the same old routine? Monday’s are my laundry day. I usually have 4 or 5 loads I will do. Sometime in between loads I will make some lunch. I get the sauce going for our spaghetti. I don’t like Mondays at all, as I am always tired from staying up to late on the weekends.

2. Earworms - we all get them from time-to-time. What tune do you have stuck in your head at the moment? How important is music to your life? List some of your favorite songs - and I’m talking about songs that evoke a strong emotion in you; joy, anger, sadness, etc. Do you have one particular song that brings back a certain time period in your life? What is the song and what is the time period? At this very moment, no tune is stuck in my head. How important is music, I would say about a 7ish. Some of my favorite songs: 40 Days, Amazing Grace,…. this is bad, I can’t remember the names of the songs… argh.

3. Who have you needed to say thank you to lately? Who is this person and what did he/she do to prompt a thank you? My pastor’s wife. She is just a blessing. She just knows when you need to talk and is there, for that I am very thankful for her.

4. How many candles will be on your birthday cake this next birthday? What do you think about the age you are now? Are you comfortable with what you’ve accomplished in life so far? Or do you wish you could have achieved more? You’re being granted one birthday wish - what is it? There will be 41. At first I dreaded hitting the 40’s, but I am ok with it now. I am pleased with what I have accomplished thus far. One wish??… well if I share it then it won’t come true, so I will keep it to myself.

Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it? Going up in a hot air balloon. Maybe my fear of heights has stopped me.

If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be and how long would it take you to spend the $10,000? It would be Target… I would have it gone in no time, from getting some stuff for my camera, games for the numerous video game systems we have, clothes, household items and on and on and on!

Name three things you wanted as a child but never got. Easy Bake Oven, Barbie make-up head thingy, I can’t think of a 3rd one.
