My Life as Mama Jodi

My kitty had John and I cracking up last night with her trying to get a grape. I still have yet to find the one she did manage to get out of the bowl.

I have this software that I can make some awesome gifts with, from cute little frames, calendar, mouse pads or even designs for coffee mugs! The software comes with 5 CD’s, the install one some are lenghty but worth the time. They have just about every design theme you can think, anywhere from babies, pets to sports, and holidays.

I can’t wait to make some custom photo gifts for family and friends this holiday season! These will be great as they are made with love and will mean more to them than some store bought gift.

You can print these items at home, or if you don’t want to use your own ink, you can upload them to any online store, or save them to your computer in a jpeg format and download to a CD and bring it into any store.

I have been playing around with the software and really love all the different options it offers. I made this design using my kitty and can’t wait to add this to her own scrapbook.

I think I am going to try my hand at making our own Christmas cards this year!

I kept hearing a noise in the dining room, I finally got up to go see what was going on. And guess what I find???? My cat in my purse, and my money on the floor. The little stinker! Of course she takes off, so I couldn’t get a picture of it. I put the money back, and I notice my gum… she was chewing on it…. John says, “So I guess I can’t blame things on Trent anymore? Cause now we know who the real culprit is.”

I bought a new “bed in a bag” set today for my bed. Its blue/brown/tan in color with squares. I am off tomorrow to find some fabric to match so I can recover my throw pillows and make some curtains. My hubby told me he liked what we had, as it was “manly”. I told him I was in the mood for some change. We have put off house hunting until spring, so I want to spruce up my room. We have been in our house for 10 years and I never did anything in it. So this weekend the change starts. I just wish we had the money to get new carpet for the room as well.

I had lunch with two of my best friends. Lots of fun talk. I got to see Cohen walk, so cute. Tonight I was going to go downtown for our “Celebration on the Grand” to watch the fireworks, but hubby had to go to go to band practice and Trent didn’t want to go. He has turned into a party pooper for fireworks. So here I sit on a Friday night bored out of my mind. I guess I am going to go put on come comfy clothes and do some reading.
