Washer woes
Trent came downstairs this morning and asked if the dryer was supposed to be making noises. I told him yes, it usually does. He says, “You might want to go check it, as its sounding really funny, kinda like growling funny.” I ran upstairs, and sure enough it sounded like it was growling some. I clicked it over to the drain cycle, as it was full of soapy water, and hoped it would be all spun out by the time I got back from taking Trent to school.
I went and got all my quarters so I could head to the laundry mat with 5 loads in tow. I had my water, iPod and a book to keep me company while I waited for my laundry to be done. I do have to admit, the only good thing about going to the laundry mat, is that you can get all of it done in one shot. I did 5 loads, washed, dried and folded in one hour and 15 minutes!! Yay me!
My washer and dryer, they both are dieing a slow, miserable death. I shouldn’t complain as we have had them for 15 years.
So when John got home from work we had dinner, then headed out to Best Buy to see what we could find. I wish we were spending the money on something a little more fun, like going to Chicago for the drag races this weekend.
This is my new washer and dryer. I have to wait until next Monday before it will be delivered. I may have to make one more trip to the laundry mat, but at least I know it won’t take me long to get it all done.

John is thrilled, as he won’t have to figure out how to get our washer/dryer downstairs. Best Buy will do this for free, and they will haul them away for us, free of charge as well!! YaY!! They don’t know the ordeal they have in store for them, as we have a “L” shaped stairs to the upstairs.
