While at Michigan’s Adventure I saw lots of kids walking around with those pendant lights necklaces. I am so glad my boys are older now and not into all of these flashy gadgets. But then again maybe not, as now they are into the more expensive things like the Ripcord attraction, and those are much more costly! *Sigh*
Then there was my friend Robyn who got sucked into the carni type games and spent $12 just so she could win 2 stuffed animals for her boys.
Yesterday was a day at the park. Robyn and her boys and Trent, his friend and I went for the day. Lots of fun was had by all. The weather was perfect, well except for the breeze when we were at the water park, made for some chilly moments.
Trent and Juan wanted to ride on the Rip cord, so $40 later, they were on their way. Yikes!
All geared up, and next in line
Time to get hooked up
Up they go
Going up higher still
And their flying
Thumbs up… they enjoyed it
I took a short video of them
Cohen had fun riding the rides as well
Aden was so thrilled that he could ride a few of the rides by himself
Weekend rewind. If you want to play along, grab the above button and tell me all about your weekend!
Friday ~ Time to leave Pentwater, so lots of packing and cleaning up the camper. We stopped at KFC for lunch, then off we went for the long drive home. I have a few slide shows of the remaining pictures.
Saturday ~ Groceries in the am, then John took Trent to drums. I stayed home and made potato salad. Was planning on staying home for the day/night, but John forgot to stop and pick up his glasses, so we went back out after he and T got home. Then home for the night.
Sunday ~ Church, then over to the inlaws for dinner. John worked on a guitar in the shop, so didn’t see him much during the day. Louise, Trent and I went to Big Lots, where I found a cute Italian guy to go with my Italian themed kitchen, some new placemats for my table and a wallet to match one of my purses.
What did you do this weekend? Let me know if you play along!
Robyn and I took the kids (her two and one of mine and a nephew) to Pentwater for the week. We had lots of fun. Plenty of time spent on the beach. My tan is turning out quite nice.
The pictures in this slide are of the sunsets, and with pictures of all of us on top of the sand hill with the sunsets.
I just found out that another friend is pregnant, so many babies are soon to be born. Can’t wait to see all the birth announcements! I am hoping to take some pictures for my cousin when she is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and then again after her baby girl is born. And would be thrilled if she used one of my photos in her birth announcement. I’m excited for her, even if there are other family members that aren’t! Every baby should be celebrated regardless of what is going on in the background!
