What a day!

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: Friends, computers

I spent the morning garage saleing with Robyn and Erica, and NO kids!!  Yay!  We hit a few neighborhood sales, I found a cute top, but that was it for me today. Robyn got a few vases for her upcoming wedding.  We then went and had lunch at Olive Garden… Mmmmm.

The remainder of my day was spent dealing with my computer.  I had so many issues with it, to the point I had to do use the recovery cd and set everything back to the factory settings.  What a project!  I have everything back up and running, but now have to add back all my bookmarks… one by one at that!  Ugh!

So far everything seems to be working properly.  I have a lot of work to do with my paid blogging, and today’s escapades has set me back.  I did get the one assignment done that was due by tomorrow.  I am hoping to get the remaining done before Monday morning so it makes the cut off deadline for payroll.  Wish me luck!  Tomorrow its supposed to rain, so I think I will get things done.

I guess I should head off to bed for now, as its w-a-y past my bedtime!

Fun times

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: Friends

I love getting together with my friends and their kids. We always have a good time. We were over at Robyn’s for an impromptu porch party, that got moved indoors, as it decided to pour! Not much went on, we just sat around and talked most of the evening, and had the yummy trifle I made!

Trent has his conference meet today. I didn’t know if they would actually have it, as we were getting hit with some lovely stormy weather, but at the last minute the skies cleared up. The girls ran first, I think I only took one picture of them.. oops. Trent did pretty good he came in 153 out of 200 boys!!

Busy weekend

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: Family fun, Friends, birthday's

This weekend was a busy one for me! Friday night Trent had a Cross Country meet, he is doing really well at. After the meet we went and got some movies, Waterhorse, Firedog and Snow Buddies. We watched two so far, Waterhorse and Snow Buddies. They both really really cute movies!

Saturday was my day for very little breathing.. LOL. I had my cooking class in the morning, this week was all about cake decorating. We had a lot of fun with this one!! This is my cake, I think it turned out pretty ok!!

We ate this yesterday at a family gathering.

Then it was off to my niece’s 3rd birthday party. Where does the time go? I can’t believe she is 3 already!

Then back home to change and get ready to head off to my final destination for the night, Grace’s baby shower. We went to the Beltline Bar for yummy Mexican food!!! What a fun night, with great food and great friends!!
