My Life as Mama Jodi

I’ve got to share some thing my Julia says during the day. This is my daycare kiddo. She is the cutest thing, don’t ya think? She has been cracking me up a lot this week! We are finally getting back into the whole school routine. On Monday I had to take the truck in to get some maintence done on it. So on the way she says to the other little girl in my car, “Do you want to go crazy with me and Jodi?” I was laughing so hard at her, that I “almost” ran the stop sign… oops! She said this, because when I go a different route home, her sister would always ask “Where are we going?”, and my reply would always be “We’re going crazy.” So for Juj to remember this and say it as we are going a different route was too funny!

The other day I was having the “going back to school party”, and had to get groceries in the am, and normally she is really good when we go, but this day she was being a stinker and a tad naughty. I told her that if she didn’t stop she wouldn’t be going to the party, she would have to take her nap instead. So she then says to me “Jodi don’t leaavvvveee me”… it was so cute, but boy did I get some stares from people.

She is infatuated with my hubby, and it is always “My John” and won’t let me get near him when he comes home. He has been getting home early this week, only to leave shortly after, and she will sit and pout for a few after he leaves, as she is missing “her John”. She is a possessive little thing too, I am “her Jodi” and will push anyone way that gets to close. Including my nieces, she doesn’t like it to much when they come over and has to vie for my attention. Silly girl! Today it was “It’s an accident”, for any time she did some thing she wasn’t supposed to be doing. She makes the day go by fast for sure!

Not sure what I am going to do when she is in school, but thankfully I will have her for a few more years until that happens. For now I will enjoy all her cute little sayings.
