What is your favorite memory from all of your summers from childhood? Have more then one? That’s okay ~ just share! Get back into that summer mode even as an adult and take a look at this wonderful time from your own kids eyes!
I couldn’t wait for school to get out so we could head south and visit with relatives. Our destination: Alabama. We would make all the rounds to get in as much time with all of them before we left. But my favorite place to stop was at Uncle Monroe’s. We always had the best time there. Hanging out with Ginger, Barry, Mark, and Shelia. My uncle’s cooking, he is the best cook! He was always doing everything for us. There isn’t just one time that stands out in my mind, as all the summers going down there were the best. I have been down a few times in my adult years, and it is always the same, he does everything for us.
I think I am going to see if we can slip it into our budget and make a trip down there this summer to get in a visit with them all again!!
