It’s done! I had my CPR/First Aid recert. class today. Not the way I wanted to spend a gorgeous Saturday, but it had to be done. The class was from 8:30 to 6, but the instructor wanted to be done by 4:45, and she did it! I rushed home only to find that the guys went on a bike ride. So I have been enjoying the quiet house. The TV is all mine, so I am catching up on some movies I have DVR’d, as well as browsing the internet to see if I can find some cheap Las Vegas hotels as I want to go away for a long weekend with my hubby.

I should be working on the baby shower I have to give this weekend, as well as figure out what to get Trent for his birthday. He wants to go out for dinner, hopefully he picks a good restaurant.

I am starting to get ideas for upcoming birthday’s and anniversaries for family and friends. With the small pay cut my hubby had to take I need to budget them in wisely. I know a few things I want to get for the inlaws. I had recently won a Wii through a message board, and gave it to them as we have one already. I plan on getting them a few games. For my father in law I want to get him the Tiger Woods golf game, as he is a golf fanatic. I am really surprised that he likes to play the Wii. I am thinking of signing him up for a wine of the month club this year too. He usually makes his own wine, but won’t be able to this year. I plan on making some gifts as well, as I have an abundance of yarn right now.

Today I had a birthday party to attend for a special soon to be five year old. The party was at Chuck E Cheese’s.

Not my favorite place to go, but the kids all like it and have lots of fun, so I guess its all worth it in the end. We had pizza and some very yummy cake! I am going to find some diet pills to help me lose the added weight I am sure I gained today. Maybe Leptorexin will help me?

So I talked the hubs out of going golfing…

1. Because I have never golfed before, and knew it would take us FOREVER to finish out 9 holes.

2. A storm was rolling in. A nasty one too.

3. I really, really wanted Cold Stone Creamery ice cream!! I got a Cheesecake Fantasy waffle cone… Mmmmm… (cheescake ice cream with grahmn crackers, strawberries and blueberries)

He opened up his gift last night… we got him a shirt and some tail mix

Trent told him no funny faces…. so what does he do???

Trent and I went to my niece’s birthday party today. I still can’t believe she is 7 now! How time flies! She had a Hannah Montana birthday cake. One of her presents was a Hannah Montana outfit, and the look on her face was priceless (you can see a small glimpse of it in the slide show - its the purple outfit).

This weekend was a busy one for me! Friday night Trent had a Cross Country meet, he is doing really well at. After the meet we went and got some movies, Waterhorse, Firedog and Snow Buddies. We watched two so far, Waterhorse and Snow Buddies. They both really really cute movies!

Saturday was my day for very little breathing.. LOL. I had my cooking class in the morning, this week was all about cake decorating. We had a lot of fun with this one!! This is my cake, I think it turned out pretty ok!!

We ate this yesterday at a family gathering.

Then it was off to my niece’s 3rd birthday party. Where does the time go? I can’t believe she is 3 already!

Then back home to change and get ready to head off to my final destination for the night, Grace’s baby shower. We went to the Beltline Bar for yummy Mexican food!!! What a fun night, with great food and great friends!!

My baby boy becomes a teenager today. Where did the last 13 years go? We are taking him and a friend to Craig’s Cruisers tonight, for some fun: go karts, mini golf, laser tag and pizza. Should be a fun time. I am going to go look for a bike for him, this will be his only surprise, as he picked out his other present last night, a video game. He won’t see the bike until after we get home from CC, as we will be heading there right after his Cross Country practice. I can’t wait to see his face!!
