Renewing Vows

John and I are going to be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary next week. Not sure what we are going to do, or where we will be going. I have told him for our 15th, I want to go away and possibly renew our vows, just the two of us. There will be no wedding invitations to send out, and no one telling us what or how to do things!
I want to go somewhere tropical, and renew them on the beach, with the sun setting in the background. How romantic!! Of course, he’s no help, as he could care less. He will then just have to put up with how I plan things out. I have started our “anniversary get away funds”, and will be adding to it every week, so by this time next year we will be all set!

I think that sounds wonderful! I have always thought renewing vows was romantic. Especially when done just between the two people or with a very small number. Not a fancy, schmancy wedding but a true, heartfelt ceremony that says “I still choose you!”
