My Life as Mama Jodi

Love it when things work out and I get an unexpected 4 day weekend! Not that anything was planned for today, it was still nice to have the day off. John has the next 4 days off, which will be spent finishing up the ceiling in the kitchen. He’s also been searching the internet for information on sleep apnea, as well as acne. He is tired of being tired all the time, and irritated about having acne at his age. He came across this iQ derma review that he wants me to check out and see if its worth looking into.

I started working on my blanket, have the front side done. The back side I will start on tomorrow. I am already trying to find something else to work on once I finish this. I can’t believe how addicting this has become. I wish I could figure out patterns! I am thinking about taking some sewing classes.

The one I am making for myself is like the one above, only bigger and won’t have the frayed edges, it will be like Trent’s. I am waiting for Christopher to say he wants one as well. I will have to check out another fabric store to see if they have a bigger selection of flannel. I think this will be my new homemade gifts for the future.
