My craftiness is taking over…

Not much is getting done in my house here as of late. I have a friend who has inspired me to get out my sewing machine and tackle a project that I thought was too tough to do. You can see the finished product over, here. Last night I went to the fabric store and spent $31 on fabric. I just finished up a baby blanket, and will be starting one for Trent, but probably this weekend. I didn’t think sewing would be something strenuous on my arm.. but oh my! Its at the point of not being able to lift my arm… ugh! I thought I was on the mend, as I have been able to do more things, and started doing some of the strengthening exercises. But now I have my arm on ice.

The last few days I have had to be a chauffeur for my oldest, as his car was out of commission. We had to have it towed on Monday, so I had to stop at the insurance agency to drop off the receipt so we would get reimbursed for the tow. While there I asked her about some auto insurance quote, as Trent will be starting driver’s training soon. She said we don’t have to put him on ours until he is at the level two of the training. *Whew*! Gives me more time to start saving and readjusting our budget. Back to C’s car, $193 later, its fixed, and I am no longer a chauffeur!

Back to crafts, I also found a patter and fabric for some jammie pants that I bought back in 2005, that have been sitting in my closet that I am going to attempt to make. My hubby is happy that I am finally putting my machine to good use!

Now I am ready to call it a night, if only I could get the guys to put up the Wii, and have my hubby give me a massage!
