Graduation
Got a busy week this week. With all the high school graduations going on, I have one of my own, but not for a high schooler, its for my 8th grader. Where has the time gone? Tomorrow is his last official day of school this week. On Tuesday they will be heading out for their class trip to Chicago. They are going to Great America, then on Wednesday they will be spending the day at Navy Pier, and having lunch at ESPN Zone. Thursday is graduation day, they don’t have to go to school, just have to report to the church where the ceremony will be taking place for rehearsal. Some of the kids are going to be dressing up, one even will be sporting a tuxedo shirt. This will be a sight to see, as he is the class clown.
I will have a nice easy week of not doing all the usual school car pools! Tuesday night will be date night with my hubby, can’t wait!! I even have Wednesday off. I plan on sleeping in, and then will be having lunch with a friend (hopefully she still remembers!) If the weather permits, the truck will be getting a bath and a thorough cleaning on the inside as well!
