New Years Meme

1. What did you do in 2008 that you had never done before? nothing that I can think of…
2. Did you keep your new years resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn’t keep the ones I made, and I did make some for this year, but probably will not keep those either… *sigh*.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yep, Erica and Cari.
4. Did anyone close to you die? no one close to me, but have a few deaths at the end of the year that saddened me.
5. What countries did you visit? none
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? more money.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Aug 23rd – the most fun bachelorette party EVER! and Aug. 30th – Robyn’s wedding!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I can’t think of anything.
9. What was your biggest failure? ??.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? no, thankfully.
11. What was the best thing you bought? The Wii and Rockband. Finally a game system I can play that doesn’t mess with my vertigo!! We have been having lots and lots of fun with this!!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Hmmm….
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? I’d rather not say.
14. Where did most of your money go? house payment, bills, food, truck payment… where it always goes.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? the tubing trip in August!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? I can’t think of any that stand out.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer? I am a little sadder with how the year ended, but this year will be a much better year! I am about the same weight wise, but plan on being thinner, and staying that way!! As for $$.. about the same.
18. What do you wish you?d done more of? got more involved in church.
19. What do you wish you?d done less of? worrying over stupid stuff.
20. How did you spend Christmas? with my guys, and over at the inlaws.
21. Did you fall in love in 2006? 2006, or 2008?? Either way, I am still in love with my hubby and have been for the last 18 years… as well as in love with my boys.
23. What was your favorite TV program? I have so many fave’s… Biggest Loser, The Bachelor, Amazing Race, Big Brother…..
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn?t hate this time last year? I don’t hate anyone.
25. What was the best book you read? Twilight
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? that I can sing??? I guess??? LOL
27. What did you want and get? a 6 month vacation… not so much what I wanted, but something that was needed to renew myself.
28. What did you want and not get? camera lens (but did get it the 2nd day of the New Year!!)
29. What was your favorite film this year? Twilight
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 40, and dreaded it. I was in a very depressed state. I spent it with some friends after they dragged me out. They were told I didn’t want any big tadu, so we just hung out at Erica’s house.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? not having it end the way it did…..
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? comfy, casual.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? none really.
35. What political issue stirred you the most? the election
36. Who did you miss? 2 lost friendships.
37. Who was the best new person you met? Jess – so glad she decided to join the board!
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. Be “still” and know He is God, as He will always come through right on time!
