Karen from WriteFromKaren has started a new meme, appropriately titled the ‘Monday Morning Meme’. It’s a lot of fun – won’t you join in?
1. What book is on your nightstand right now? What was the last book you read? How many books do you think you read in 2008? On my night stand is “What’s Age Got To Do With It” by Robin McGraw. The last book I read was “Ain’t She Sweet” by Susan Elixabeth Phillips. I think I read around 20 or so books.
2. Name three blogfriends that have inspired you. Now please tell us how these blogfriends have inspired you. Annie, Shannon, and Tina. Annie, because of her strong faith and what she has overcome with her daughter. Shannon, because of what the two of us have gone through and still have remained friends. Tina, because of her faith and love for her family. You gals are such a blessing to me. Shannon we need to find a day to do lunch. Annie and Tina, we will meet one day soon!
3. How far do you live from the place where you grew up as a kid? Tell us about the place you grew up – would you choose to go back there and raise your own family (if you have one)? Why or why not? I am about 20-25 minutes away from where I grew up. It was ok growing up there. We lived in the country, so I had lots of room to roam. We rode our bikes every where. Would I go back there to raise my (almost grown children)? Probably not, I have lived in the city for almost half my life and i am kinda spoiled with having everything I need in practically my back yard.
4. Finish this line: Absence makes the heart……
(please do not say “grow fonder”.) How long do you think is ‘too long’ to be away from your loved ones? … love more. I would say that 3 to 4 days is too long to be away from loved ones.

I have Robin’s book on my must read list
I tend to juggle the books by reading fiction and non-fiction at the same time or otherwise yes it could get confusing
Have a great week ahead
