God is so GOOD!!!
Since closing my daycare last March, we have gotten by ok up until Aug. So I made the decision to reopen my daycare. I prayed that I would get a family quickly and that a certain amount would be met.
He came through, as always! We are just about back in the black. And wouldn’t you know it, He blessed us again! I got a call last week from a couple who is due any day now, and wanted to know if I had any openings. They were referred to me by an aunt of some former daycare clients.
We had an interview tonight, and they pretty much had their minds made up before even meeting me that they wanted me to watch their baby. (This made me feel so very good!)
So starting in roughly 6 weeks I will have sweet baby girl to watch!
And the amount is so God! We are wanting to put a certain amount up each month, and was hoping starting in January to be able to do this, without having to cut on so many things.. and now we won’t have to cut back, the amount is right on!
What an awesome God we serve!

I had an answer to prayer tonight also, and it was answered so quickly it just shocked me to no end..
There is a long long story which I have shared part of on my blog starting back in Sept with DH’s job not being good right now at all.. Back in Sept before everything with DH’s job went down, i applied for a subbing job with the school distric here in our town.. just looking for a little extra spending money.. it took forever to get all the background checks and all that but I got hired in and all the paper work done at the end of Oct.. At that time DH’s job while not good was atleast 40 hours a week so I was till looking at this as extra.. I had to wait to work till after the board meeting mid november. The same day I could have started getting calls to go into work..DH’s company annouced they were dropping to 32 hours a week.. But in my mind I though.. OK I can make up the differance with the subbing job.. Only days I never got a call. next day still no calls to work, next day still no calls to work.
DH came home today and told me they are closeing the plant down from Dec 18th to January 19, 2009 So he will have to be on unemployment(if he doesn’t find a new job, he is looking)
So tonight while I was in the bath tub thinking of all this, and shaving my legs LOL.. I though it would be so nice if the school started calling me soon.. So I said just a short tiny little prayer while in the tub.. “Dear Lord please let the school start calling me into work so that I can get a paycheck before christmas” I kid you not.. I was still in the tub, and with in just 1 or 2 minutes my cell phone rings and my daughter come running in with phone in hand saying mom I don’t know who it is from the ID says something about school… It was the computer sub calling thing, calling me to teacher Sub for the distric Preschool on thursday..
how is that for a quick answer to prayer..
I’m so excited to watch how God works.. and ver nerverves seeing how this will be my 1st time subbing ever and the 1st time I have worked at all in almost 7 years.
