Olympics
Have you been watching? At first I wasn’t going to watch, but I have been drawn in. We have been watching the swimming and gymnastics. Michael Phelps is amazing! He has won 11 gold medals already! He is breaking world records left and right. Amazing!
I was so hoping that the men’s gymnastic team would have kicked China’s butt! I tried to stay up and watch the whole thing the other night, but finally gave up at 12:30 and went to bed, only to miss seeing them take the bronze by a few minutes! Grrrr.
The ladies didn’t do to bad either, taking the silver. I always cringe when they are on the balance beam. One wrong move and they can be in a lot of pain! I never did like this one when we have a rotation of gymnastics in gym class. I don’t have the flexability like these gals have!
Not sure how much more of the Olympics I will be watching, as track and field starts soon, and I just don’t care for that.
But for now GO USA!!
