Trent’s going to State!!

Tomorrow is their State meet for Cross Country, and this year each school can pick an additional 7 kids to go for and encore race and he was chosen. There are 40 kids on the team, and the top 14(boys/girls) are going for the main race, so out of the remaining 26 kids he was the 2nd chosen! I am so proud of my boy!!
The quote from the coach: “I believe that making this event is still quite honorary, as the students chosen to participate are those that have been dedicated to the team and their grades over the season. These decisions were derived from averaging scores over the season.”
So now I am trying to see who we can carpool with, to help with the gas to and from Lansing!!
