Monday Morning Meme #4
Karen from WriteFromKaren has started a new meme, appropriately titled the ‘Monday Morning Meme’. It’s a lot of fun - won’t you join in?
1. What did you do over the weekend?
Friday night ~ we had Trent’s last Cross Country Meet, then home to veg out for the night.
Saturday ~ I painted my kitchen, I tried to do the ceiling, but my vertigo didn’t like me trying to do that, and nearly fell off the chair, so hubby has to finish that. I then got ready to go out to do some shopping with the girls.
Sunday ~ church, then home for lunch. Trent and John went on a long bike ride (a 5 hour one…yikes), so I stayed home, vegged out in front of the tube watching “Moving Up” on TLC and took a nap. Once the guys got home John and I watched Drag Racing, can’t wait until we can go back to Indy and watch them live!!
2. What’s for dinner tonight? What is for dinner Tuesday night? Do you normally plan your meals ahead of time? Why or why not? tonight for dinner is baked ziti and garlic bread. Tues night is pancakes and sausage. I do plan my meals out the week before, as this saves us money with not having to either a)go out and get fast food or b)go to the store ever night and pick something up with tons of extras.
3. What advice do you have for the last person who honked their horn at you? WHY did they honk their horn at you? Was it jusitifed? I can’t remember the last time someone honked at me, so I don’t have any advice.
4. Have you ever faked an illness to get out of doing something? If so, what was the illness? What was the thing you wanted to get out of doing? How many times have you faked an illness? How many times do you call in sick to work? If you’ve never faked an illness, would you if you needed to get out of work for something really important? I have faked illnesses in order to get out of work. Sometimes it would be me being sick, but most of the time I would say the kids were sick. Most of the time it was trying to get out of work. I have done this several times over the last 18 years.
