High School Days – Then vs. Now….
Michelle is having a fun meme all about high school! Stop on by and get the questions and participate. She says this: “I hope you’ll play along. I’ve been thinking about how funny it would be to post high school photos and I thought of a few questions to go along with the photo. I’ll share a couple more photos later.”
I will have to post a pic of me in high school tomorrow, as I have to scan it, and I am to lazy to get up right not to find a photo *giggle*
1. What was your favorite food and is it still the same? Back then I loved the rectangle style school pizza’s. I had actually found a vendor who made them for a while, and stocked up. They are no longer around and that makes me sad. Now ~ I have to say I still like pizza.
2. What was your hair color and is it the same (via bottle or natural)? Back then I was a brunette, now more of a slight red head (thanks to a bottle!)
3. Was your personality any different back then than it is now? I was extremely shy back then, now I am still shy, but not as bad.
4. Were you a follower or leader? I was more of a leader, same as today.
5. What kind of music did you listen to back then? Same now? Back then I was Top 40′s kinda gal, love the big hair bands. Today I listen to Contemporary Christian music.
6. Did you have a lot of friends or just a few good ones? I would say a few good ones. While I had lots of friends, just not ones who I would hang out with all the time. Today, I have a handful of great friends!!
7. What was your clothing like? Were you a trendsetter or conservative? And what about now? My high school years were in the 80′s, stirrup pants, leg warmers, big sweaters. I like to say I was a trendsetter. Now I am a jean’s/t-shirts/sweatshirt/sweater type of gal.
8. Did you have hobbies/activities then? And now – same or different? I don’t think I had any hobbies back then; activities ~ would be volleyball. Now… I love scrapbooking, knitting, baking/cooking, cross stitch.
9. What was your favorite color? Still the same? Back then it was Kelly Green/Navy. Now its purple.
10. What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a nurse. While I never went on to become a nurse, I did get a certificate as a Medical Assistant. I worked as this for 5 years, and then decided that being a SAHM was the best job in the world!!

Great one, Jodi! You are younger than me. I was late 70′s but I wore those clothes after high school.
