My Life as Mama Jodi

I am partaking in a gratitude journal that Kathy M is starting over on her blog. You can read why she is starting this here. I am going to be doing mine, here on my blog while I believe she will be doing hers in a scrapbook, but will be posting her pages she completes on her blog as well. Maybe later on down the road I will do mine in a scrapbook as well. This is what she has to say for today’s entry

What are you grateful about in nature?
Is it the seasons changing? flowers? What?”

As much as I complain about the weather here in Michigan (mainly winter), I do love that we can experience the change of seasons. My favorite season is Fall. I love the the colors and smells it brings. I have been taking lots of pictures lately of the sky, we have had some really pretty sunsets here as of late. I don’t ever remember having them in the fall like we have. Last night on my way home from a friends house, I was at the stop sign, and was in awe of the pink glow all around, I looked to my left to see if any oncoming traffic was coming and saw this beautiful rainbow, so out came may camera. I should have pulled over to take more pictures, as the sky was beautiful and the trees just glowed, but I was cold from getting soaked while out trick or treating and wanted to get home to get out of my wet clothes. These are the 2 pictures I took.
