Trent and the new lawn mower
John’s dad got a new lawn mower, you would think these guys are kids with a new toy, LOL. We were over there a few weeks ago when Gramps told Trent to hop on, mind you I was a wreck, as this is one tricky piece of machinery! He told me it would be fine, the blades weren’t on and he would be ok.
Can you see why I was nervous? This thing has no steering wheel! Just arms to steer with, yikes! He had him go everywhere in the front yard with it, to get a feel for how it works. Then they moved to the backyard, oh no! They have a slight hill in the back that even freaked John out when he cut the grass with it. For the most part Trent did really well. Gramps said a few more times and I think he will be good to go and can have the job next summer of cutting the grass. So guess who will be bringing him over once a week? Yep, me. Trent is thrilled as he has been begging me to get him some sort of job.
He’s looking like a pro now, making the turn around the pole. My baby is growing up.

Hey sneaky – tell the kids it’s a ride on toy and get them to ride around the garden cutting the grass. Kills two birds with one stone!
