It’s very simple. When this is passed on to you, copy the whole thing, skim the list and put a * star beside those that you like. (Check out especially the * starred ones.)

Add the next number (1. 2. 3. 4. 5., etc.) and write your own blogging tip for other bloggers. Try to make your tip general.

After that, tag 10 other people. Link love some friends!

Just think- if 10 people start this, the 10 people pass it onto another 10 people, you have 100 links already!

I can’t believe it has been 10 years since she died. She was an very admired lady and had compassion for everyone. You can tell that she made an impact in her boys lives in the short time she was here on earth raising them. The memorial concert they are doing will make her smile down on them.

Salad
What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed? The birth of my boys!

Main Course
If you were a celebrity, what would you do for a publicity stunt? probably nothing, I am not one to bring attention to myself.

Dessert
What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child? I would have to say somewhere in your mid twenties.

Tasty Thursday

tasty-thursday.jpg

Trista over at The Pumpkin Patch has started a Tasty Thursday meme that I think is a great idea! No theme this week, but come back next week its all about Party/appetizer foods.

Red Skin Cheesy Potatoes
These are soooooo yummy!!

3 lbs small red skin potatoes
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped purple onion
1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. shredded colby cheese
salt & pepper to taste
parsley

Scrub potatoes and boil potatoes whole with 1 TBSP salt, until tender. Drain and let cool on counter top. When cool cut each potato in half (keeping halves together). Spoon out center of each potato (making sure to not break potato skin) and put into bowl. Chop potato centers with knife and fork (don’t mash). Cook onions in butter until translucent. Mix cooked onion and butter with potatoes. Stir in sour cream and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Spoon the potato mixture back into skins and press halves together to form one round potato. Put in container and refrigerate overnight.

Crock pot: Carefully place potatoes in crock pot. Sprinkle lightly with parsley. Heat through 1 1/2 hours on high and then 2 to 3 hours on low. Or heat on low for 5-7 hours.

Oven: Carefully place potatoes in covered roaster and sprinkle lightly with parsley. Heat in oven for 1 hour at 350 or until heated through.

Pens anyone?

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: product ideas

Have you ever thought about promoting your blog with a cool pen? What a great idea! You get up to five lines of info on each pen! You could put your URL, your name and whatever other info you want! The price isn’t bad either. I may order a few of these to promote my blog and for my Herbalife business as well. So if you have a business why not check out this site and get some pens to promote your business!

Face behind the blog

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: Tagged memes

I was tagged by Amber.

Face Behind the Blog. Here are the rules:

1st step - Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already show a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.

Oh man… I don’t have lots of pics of me, as I am always the one taking the pictures. So I had to do some digging to find some pics.

Trent took this of me this past Sunday before we headed to church

sv500678.JPG

This was taken at Culver’s ~ me, my friend Robyn and her son Cohen
(who is my fave photo subject-you see him alot in my posts)

Me with 2 of my favorite gal pals!

Trent and I, that I took of us this past Sunday

2nd step - Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference.

Here the ones who’ve done this already… Amber, Deb

3rd step - Tag as many others as you like to spread the meme.

Tool Storage Options

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: product ideas

I need to find some more tool storage options for my hubby. Our basement needs better organization. He has tools everywhere but in his tool chest. It doesn’t help that his dad is always giving him a tool here and a tool there. We love getting the hand me downs, but not when we don’t have proper storage areas for it. So off to do some cyber browsing to add to our ever growing wish list.
