I drove by the church shortly after moving into the duplex and saw his name on the billboard, turned around and went back to see if it was actually his name, it was. So I went to church that following Sunday and talked with him after the service. What a great day that was. He was honored that I wanted him to perform the ceremony. Taking a break from blogging this week
Going to take a break. Not much going on, just not into bloggin this week. I need to get used to my laptop and then on Thursday I have someone from Circuit City coming out to get the wireless up and running.
I hope you all have an awesome week and I will be back in a week.
Gotta love tax time!
We got our Fed and State back yesterday. This year was my turn to use some of the money to get what I wanted! So guess what I got???? A laptop! Yay!! We have to wait until Thursday for me to be wireless… a guy has to come out and hook it up, as we bought the security package so noone driving by can tap into our net. But for now I am hooked up to the net at the desk. This is taking some getting used to, but all is good. John will love it now, when I am pecking away at the keys and won’t hear it. That sound drives him nuts. I would take a pic of the new laptop, but don’t have my camera software installed, this will have to wait until Thursday as well, as they are going to network our computers together, so I can just tap into the desktop.. yay!
I now need to get going… got lots to do today, and sitting here playing with the new laptop isn’t on the agenda, LOL.
Oh we also paid of John’s car yesterday! What a great feeling that was! And still have money left over to put into savings!
Have a great day all!

I have the best hubby!!

He bought me an awesome Valentine’s gift!! “The Next Grilleratin George Foreman G5″ grill!! I am so excited! I can’t wait to play with it tomorrow! I am getting up early just to make him some waffles before he goes to work! Yay!! And then I get to grill our steaks on Wed, instead of doing them in the broiler. I miss not being able to use my outdoor grill in the winter!
Trent wants me to make bacon and eggs on it, I just might have to do this for dinner tomorrow night. My whole menu will probably change so I can try it out all week!
Now I am off to go check out the cookbook that came with it!
