Join Us For Tackle It Tuesday

We’re making housework blog-able!

Each week on Tuesday, we are posting before and after pictures of a project or trouble area that we tackled this week.

Find out more about Tackle It Tuesday’s here at 5 Minutes for Mom.

The project can be little or big – whatever you want. Basically, Tackle It Tuesday is about giving ourselves incentive, deadlines and satisfaction in getting our household tasks done.

This week is a continuation from last week. I was working on the hat/mitten/scarf set for my niece.

I went from this:
to the start of the scarf
This is the completed set. I finished the scarf up yesterday!!

Cats on Tuesday

Posted by: Jodi  :  Category: Cats on Tuesday

Today I want to introduce you to my kitty. This is Miss Lulu. And rule the house she does. She is my new alarm clock, very rarely do I wake up to the beep of the clock, usually it is to her meowing or nudging me awake. She wants to be fed, and fed now. If I try to go back to bed after getting up, she won’t have it, even if I close our bedroom door ~ she will be right outside the door and meowing ~ loudly. She will be in my face until I get back up, she does however let me go back to sleep down on the couch. She may be a pest, but I love her none the same. It took a little convincing on my part to get her. We had to put our other two cats down do to old age and we said no more pets for a while. But as you see, it didn’t last long, momma got her way and got this cute lil kitty. There hasn’t been a dull moment in our home since we got her a year ago. I am looking forward to sharing more about my kitty with you all on Tuesdays!

I still can’t figure out how to get the Mr Linky to work, but you can view more posts about “Cats on Tuesdays” over at Gattina’s blog

Soup
Do you have an “innie” or an “outie” belly button? innie

Salad
Name a new paint color and describe it. oh I don’t know… some sort of shade of purple

Main Course
What is your favorite holiday tradition? Spending the first half hour or so with my boys before my husband gets up on Christmas morning. I now am up before they roll out of bed, so it is nice to see their eyes still light up when they come downstairs!

Dessert
If you were a cookie, what kind of cookie would you be, and why? Probably a chocolate chip cookie, because it is a comfort cookie!
